William Harrison believes he has the solutions to fix the Assassin's Creed issues of freezing and frame rate problems which PS3 users are experiencing. He suggests it is wise to not sign into PSN and to disable the information board and this should solve the issues.
To quote: There seems to be an awful lot of people having problems with Assassins Creed, freezing and frame rate issues, well there is a fix you'll be glad to know, and its an easy one, all you have to do is disable the information board, press triangle on it and disable it and these problems should go away. Also do not sign into the PSN network.
This has worked for me (for now) and a few others but please get back to us and tell whether it worked for you or not.

I'm waiting for the Vita update to stop notifications when friends come online. I've turned all notifications off and I still get those notifications....
