FREEVAST PROJECT IS OPENED!

The new exploit work arround a nice feature that SONY introduced in PS2, the possibility to load a system update from MEMORYCARD SONY only if the file is MAGIC GATE SIGNED.
Two official example are one update for the DVDPLAYER (sold with official sony remote) and one for the file browser (sold with HD NETWORK ADAPTOR PS2 SONY).

The idea started from INDIPENDENCE EXPLOIT, a trick that allow to play unsigned files from memorycard at bootup thanx to a buffer overflow found in the memorycard until PS2 V10 (after was fixed).

The new VAST and PS2 MEMORYCARD MODCHIP found the way to have a SIGNED FILE in the memorycard, the VAST solution simple use ORIGINAL MEMORYCARD to sign every file with internal ID of MAGIC GATE IC and PS2 MEMORYCARD MODCHIP use an FPGA to protect the SIGNED FILE.

So right now the target is to HACK THE SIGNED FILE and offer to all FREE for download thanx FREEVAST TEAM
