well my friend here is what you need to get up and going:

1 xbox 360 below kernal 2.0.8498 and i would not use an ms replacement console as them and new ones are patched so go to ebay get an rrod one or 2 maybe they go for cheep most of them do lots of 5 or so for 120 or 130

get them reflowed and working again then use xbr rebooter it dont requier a mod chip to run the hacked kernel tutorials, as far as soldering the jtag points on the motherbaord and dumping and pacthing the flash then you can enjoy all homebrew and games

And I assume that if the XBOX is more recent that I'll need a MOD chip?
