No, just use it elsewhere, if it's everywhere else. If you do decide to buy Gold though, you'll be getting access to much more than Twitter and Facebook.

i currently have a gold membership and i use nothing it offers, my point is they shouldn't be using a free service to promote there pay service its just a dirty deed. if its a free service and you choose to support it you should be offering it free and universally to all consoles. Not just the users who give you money monthly.
