Microsoft has now confirmed that new Xbox 360 units come with an upgraded 512MB of memory. (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/34784/Microsoft-ups-3608217s-internal-memory)

“The Xbox 360 system software uses some of the included 512MB memory – less storage will be available to users. Additional storage may be needed for game saves, Xbox Live Arcade games, content downloads, personal file storage, and additional enhanced functionality.

I love they way they add in 512mb of memory but still sell the hard drives at ridiculous prices at my local ebgames 20gb's are going for $90, 60gb's for $159, and 120gb's for $221. Not to mention that you can buy a 120gb 2.5inch HDD for around $50-60.
