It should be noted that as well as dmi.bin ss.bin and pfi.bin, there are also 3 different types of video.iso. so if this is not correct, it will not boot. |

"The changes betwen 1.0 and 1.2 are obviously extra added securities in relation to stealth backups. You will find that many pirated (non-personally backed up) versions of games will no longer boot. No, this is not our rage against the pirate war....it is instead c4e's attempt at further dummy proofing standards to prevent possible future bannings in relation to NON-PROPER backups. This new standard will hopefully provoke users to back up their own data with a kreon/TS-H943, or force others to do it right. The Hitachi Version of iXtreme is currently a Work In Progress. There is no ETA, so i would give it several weeks before asking how its going." @ Neophile: Your stealth backups that are not loading correctly are most likely pirated copies that weren't properly stealth patched. All your backups will run perfect on iXtreme 1.2 if you backed up your original disc using a kreon drive or your samsung drive thats on the 360...

Seems that it would be real handy with all of this going on since 1:1 backups will never happen and we are pretty much at the mercy of the firmware and what ever the scene might have released as a stealth image. |

Well yes and no actually.. There is a program called XDVD Mulleter Beta 8 (that recently was updated to beta 8 after the release of iXtreme 1.0) This version of the program detects iXtreme 1.0 compatible games (through ISO and DVDR DL) The problem with this program at the current time is that since there were more stealth checks implemented in the firmware release of iXtreme 1.2, some games that passed the iXtreme check in XDVDMulleter Beta 8 will still not work in iXtreme 1.2 There is an update (Beta 9) scheduled to be released soon so it won't be much longer now. This update will have the ability to check the stealth status of a game based on the iXtreme 1.2 checks that is the current standard. The only negative is that with these new added stealth checks, you will no longer be able to properly check the iXtreme 1.2 Stealth compatibility through DVDR DL (don't know the technical details of why, just know it won't be able to test all the checks through DVDR-DL) and will have to extract the image onto the computer first to check its stealth status.. Hope this helps.. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask...

Hello, Had a similar problem with gears of war, used xbox 360 backup creator 2.5 go to image tools tab, check box "inject", click on "video section" select game iso you want to patch the program will then ask you to select an iso image, select the Iso image that came with xbox 360 backup creator to patch iso. |
