[Update] The Wii Homebrew Game Thread

BScrk has released a new version of his Liero remake for the Nintendo Wii. Leiro has been called a real time version of worms and was originally released for DOS in 1998.

Wiiero is a Liero clone specially developed for the Wii. Destructible terrain plays a major role in the gameplay. Wiiero is a two player game (the single player mode will be developed later).

Wiiero plays exactly the same way as Liero; it has the same game modes (Deathmatch, CTF, and Tag) and most of the same weapons. It also contains some new (optional) weapons.

Chris_c has released WiiNetPuzzle 1.0 a logic puzzle game, use the WiiMote as a pointer with and to rotate each tile until they all link up with the centre tile. Larger game sizes are harder, start with 5x5 and teach yourself to play. Future versions may include the ability to theme the tile set.

The_marioga has released a port of Arkanoid to the Nintendo Wii. I'm sure many of you know what Arkanoid is, but to put it simply, it's a addictive puzzle game.

Uffe Flarup has released a update to his puzzle game for the Nintendo Wii. You've basically have to move the sand to the green spot on the screen.

What's New?

* Added "Multiplayer Mayhem" levels
* Reusable stone can now be placed in the BMP level files

Slappy has released an update to his wii port of Quadrax, a logical puzzle game where you will need fast finger reactions and will have to use all your grey brain cells to get further past the game. That way you can succeed in solving all the ninety levels, which the game has.

What's new?

+ Multiplayer game added!!!
+ Characters are now controlled by Nunchuk joystick
+ Camera is controlled by D-pad
+ Better loading times
