I connected to the internet just fine. Got my updates & ok'ed the EULA but trying to get into the Wii Shopping Channel just won't work. After 20 attempts 1 time I got to the screen where you can start to try to buy stuff but after that it hung up. 3 or 4 times it just hung up and never did anything Most of the other times I got error message "Unable to connect to the server" and error #209576 or #051330 (neither of which are acknoledged on the Nintendo website)
My thought is just that the servers are WAY to busy on launch day because there are probably 2,000,000 people tring to do the exact same thing and perhaps proximity to Nintendo servers has something to do with priority of access. I'm near Boston and I wonder where Nintendo servers are and who is getting through.
Either that or there is a flaw with the wireless connection on my end that only crops up when I try to access the Wii Shop but I think that is unlikely because as I said earlier in the day 11:45 am EST I could download everything I needed (2 updates & EULA)?
Any thoughts?
