Video: Homebrew Channel Installed on 4.0u Wii via .wad

With help from cfwprophet with dumping the cios v9.wad. I was able to take this to the finish line.

I successfully installed The Homebrew Channel on a 4.0u Wii via .wad and you can only do this if you have a wad installer installed pre 4.0u update.

you are the man! thank you so much this was very easy i had the wad manager channel installed on my wii i erased the homebrew channel by accident. this just installed no problem on my soft modded wii now which is my friends my wii i messed up by updating without the homebrew channel.. is there a way to do this on a formatted wii updated to 4.0u softmodded?

No as of now the only way for this to work is to have a .wad installer installed pre update 4.0 sorry.
