Is this the same method of when you power off the wii you have to repeat the steps over again?

You mean run the app? Yes... you have to run it as it naturally doesn't permanently modify your console.

Does this still require soldering? like installing a modchip first? sorry need a bit more info...

will it run on windows ? does it also run game cube back-ups ? any features ? do we need that 47pF capacitor ? and if so, where should I connect the other end of it ? to grnd also ??!!

oh yeah, and why connecting a serial cable to the parallel printer port ? or am I missing something here ?
