You should be able to, but for MC3 there is a rip kit already available (~10MB in size though). Also, for adding your own soundtracks in PSP games you can also check out THIS on-going thread and Tutorial too.

Removed From MC3 iSO:

- Update
- Movies
- Music
- Used the java ripkit to reduce the large file

Other Notes:

I believe the custom car options were removed using the java ripkit. Also, since the music is gone, the music tracks will flip quickly at the bottom of the screen. To remove this, simply change the music volume to zero under the options menu. Everything seems to run fine.

The ripkit brings down the ISO size to about 640Mb. I've gotten it to run with UMD Emulator 0.8, but I gotta say after playing Burnout Legends, MC3 crawls along like a slug.

Still, mucho kudos to the ripkit author for a much-needed public service for those of us with 1Gb mem stix!

Nice to hear! Users of the PS2 CDGEN utility will probably be much more comfortable using UMDGEN for their PSP UMD Rips, and as more features are added it should prove to be quite a handy PSP tool. :shades:

So then this UMDGEN app does pretty much the same thing as VCDROMX except it was written specifically for the psp, and runs smoother AND without all the "?????" on the buttons?
