I can't rename any iso's now with 3.5. It's not working for me.

I don't think I follow but... why not rename the ISO in windows explorer?

Hi,

Great program. Just updated to 3.50 and I won't run it on WinXP Corp SP2 through Virtual PC on my Mac (it runs fine on the same OS on my laptop - I prefer to use my Mac because the PC only has USB 1.1). The last version I could run on VPC was 2.00.

It says, "UMDGen has encountered a problem and needs to close," etc.

Do I need .NET or something?

I can't remember exactly, but I suspect it has to do with the way UMDGen utilizes memory from 2.1 onwards - this was improved to enable the increase to the maximum size of data held in memory with opened images - which basically means you can open images with approx 100,000 files without problem (depending on your system specs).

i believe he open .CSO that's why he can't do anything with it apart from viewing the content inside. It work fine with .ISO image.

Okay, if you are talking about changing the volume label then it is still possible - this is now done in the ISO image properties window (right-click in folder viewport and select Image Properties from menu).

If you are talking about renaming files/folders then bennyvo is correct. Renaming is disabled in compressed image files. You will need to convert compressed images to regular ISO before editing.

Hi,

Just upgraded to 3.50, and have a couple of initial questions...

1. I used to be able to drag & drop an ISO into UMDGen, and have all the proper file tree displayed, but now this doesn't work properly any more - just shows the ISO as a single file in the right-hand pane...?

2. Can't disable optional path tables any more? I've used this method in the past to "fix" broken ISOs...

Help! :-)
