CiSO support for UMDGen

Any idea when the next version of UMDGen is going to hit the streets ?

Im really looking forward to the CiSO support. Fingers crossed you will be able to open and view a .CiSO image as you would a normal .iso image.

If this is the plan then it cannot come soon enough, as I will be able to update my list of 041a compatible games to include the game region

That is the plan. No release date as of yet, still working on improving the code overall to try and get 100% compatablity with problem games, also adding one or two new features.

Final testing is just about complete- it will definitely be out sometime this coming week... very likely in the first half of the week.

what about the option to see how much of a difference the compression will do with each level (before compressing)?

UMDgen is a good app but why are there some games that we have to make them in to isos with vcdromX and it does not work with umdgen? Is that going to get fixed?

UMDGen v3.02 is a gem. Though, I'm really looking forward to CSO support too since DAX has been all but forgotten.

It's not possible to calculate before hand the rate of compression - to do what your suggesting would require UMDGen to compress an ISO at each level first and then give a report on each level/ratio.
