Today we received word that PSIX is in development by dev'ers Qubitz and Fluff (aka naoneo) among others. Originally the project was indeed dubbed 'PSPOS' but was recently renamed PSIX to rid itself of the Windows port questions posed by many and also because 'PSPOS' was far too predictable a name. The authors state up until now not much has been done with the program beyond the creation of a new graphical interface, but it has yet to actually be implemented. However, Qubitz did do an amazing job of setting up a user environment complete with mouse cursor, icons, and menu systems and sent a BETA to select developers for further work... more news to follow on this as it becomes available!
