PS VitaTools v1.00 Arrives, Includes PKG_Reader and PUPUnpack

This weekend PlayStation Vita homebrew developer deroad has released PS VitaTools v1.00, which includes a PKG_Reader and PUPUnpack along with source code.

I uploaded a new version of pkg_reader and added the awsome pupunpack for PSVITA PUPs (I built this one right now. just 30 mins it works as the PS3 version.)!!

I hope that these tools will be useful someday!

I want to thanks fail0verflow team for their src. It's really useful for me (I made a few changes to the files to allow debug message)!

Following up on the previous builds, today PlayStation Vita developer deroad has updated PS VitaTools to version 1.04 which includes the addition of ReadSELF among the changes detailed below.

To quote: well, I implemented a little of my tools for the vita console. here is the changelog:

why I updated pupunpack? while testing the readself I found that what I though that was a sprx was a self and the self one was a sprx. so I had to update it. (all the info about what is a self and what is a prx comes from http://www.sco.com/developers/gabi/latest/ch4.eheader.html)

what readself do now? it's still sperimental. it obvioulsy have bugs since i have never done reverse engineering, so this is quite new for me, but it display some useful info (for me).

as i always do, i hope that these tools can be really useful someday.

About: Vita Keys

• These files contain the keys necessary for encrypting/decrypting/signing files for the PS Vita.
• They are compatible with deroad's vitatools.
• Copy these files to your ~/.vita/ or %userprofile%\vitakeys directory.
• Initial files were created by Deroad.
