    PS Vita Memory Card Pricing Revealed by Retailer GameStop


    This weekend video game retailer http://www.gamestop.com/ps-vita has revealed pricing for PS Vita accessories and Memory Cards, which will be available in 4, 8, 16 and 32 GB sizes.

    To quote from Examiner.com (linked above): "In addition to the first-part offerings from Sony Computer Entertainment, Mad Catz and PDP are also planning a few third-party accessories for the launch of the portable system.

    The PS Vita will launch in North America on February 22nd. The first edition bundle (which includes a limited edition case, 4 GB memory card and Little Deviants) is available a week earlier."

    I hate all those Sony exclusive memory cards - Pro Duo, M2, etc.

    Why it can't just use good old microSD? Why I have to pay for this overpriced storage media? 30$ for 4 GB? LMAO

    Indeed, it seems Sony loves their proprietary formats... I wonder if any third-party solutions will surface as a result.

    I remember back when I owned a PSP SanDisk's card being cheaper and performing better than Sony's own heh!

    Don't worry. Give to china 1 month, and you will find tons of clones

    Sure, I bought 15$ china clone 4gb Pro Duo 4 years ago, and it's still working solid

    Yea, let's hope this format will be a fail soon, and adapted for normal SD or cloned as hell.

    I remember when the big capacity pro duo cost more than the psp, these prices seem a little more reasonable but still quite steep. Here in the U.K. they will just replace the dollar sign with the pound and like usaul we will pay more.
