May 27, 2007 - IGN liked http://psp.ign.com/objects/783/783630.html. Quite a bit actually, with the AU team scoring it a whopping 8.9, making it the second highest scoring PSP game that we've reviewed.

One of the game's strongest features is its multiplayer mode, and it's about to get a thorough workout in a new MGS: Portable Ops Online League, officially supported by both Atari and Konami. It's a global gig, with five languages being supported: English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Apologies to the Scottish - let's face it, the thick Scottish accent is basically a language unto itself.

The competition will unfurl between June and October, spread over three official tournaments. In a first for a portable game, full clan support is included in MGS: Portable Ops, and the new competition will be a driving force for the formation of these online teams.
