I can't play online in infracture mode?!

This is a real game and i've tried this with my NBA2K5 and Twisted Metal Head On. When i connect through the hotspot my game sees the people online but everytime i try to get a game going it will either say connection pending and then it'll time out, or it'll just go to Connection timed out.

Anyone know this problem?

if you are joining a game, it shouldnt have a problem, but if you are trying to host a game you may need to configure the port forwarding on your router if u have the firewall enabled. otherwise the data coming in ceases to exist

so you think its a firewall problem? Which my father does have a firewall on here. Norton Internet Security. but i didn't know that could be a possible prob.
