I've asked this before and it didn't get answered so I'll ask again. Especially now with 2.71 emulation, is the UMD in working order with the latest Devhook?

The UMD wasn't working with .42 however it may be working with .43 or .44? I'd also really like to know the answer to this! I wanna but T: DR but not if I can't use the UMD.

I know this is probably far fetched and the us version of Tekken is released in the next week, but is there any way to convert the language to english at all. The menu is in english but the rest is in jap

It's not so bad to bluff your way through the menus. There were 6 of us at work playing a wifi tourney and we all managed to get by.

A great time was had by all, and I am the official king of the iron fist tournament.

uhmm... actually no... all the versions have the same huge files. all you have to do is relink some of the files, I forgot which ones you hane to relink exactly but i'm pretty sure you can shrink the ISO down.

Edit: ok, I just ripped it myself, its not hard actually... using UMDgen just dummy all the files in the update folder and relink TKPDATA0.BIN to TKPDATA1.BIN I've got it down to 846 MB, what gets ripped is just all the movies, so everything else, (voice music etc) is still intact.

So is the any way of effectively making these files smaller other than using a Ripkit? I would assume ripping out the videos by linking the PMF files using UMDGen works just as well, correct?

Is it impossible to reduce the Tekken USA iso to under 1 gig with all movies intact? I just got the usa iso and no one released a fix yet except for one that got rid of all the movies... maybe I should just get a new 2gig stick or something.

Oh wow, really? So all the movies are intact and the data1.bin or w/e its called don't have to be relinked? I haven't downloaded it yet, but I would really like to know if it can be played with everything still in it. So just delete the update folder and it's good to go right?
