I just bought the psp last night. Tomb Raider had me update to FW 2.60. I have DH .43 so can I even run the game any help will be greatly apreciated guys.

INFORCER
you need to have 1.5 firmware to run devhook or any other iso application, but don't fret there is a downgrader to get you back to 1.5 just search the threads, it seems like you have all the rest right. hope this helps.

Wow man I thought that DH.43 worked with 2.60 FW. That was my understanding from the threads I read. So my psp running FW 2.60 is useless, or is there a way to do this without DH. Also the downgrader asks me to use another psp with fw 1.5 but I dont know anyone with those versions

Any help is apreciated..

Take the original 1,748,762MB ISO and...

1. Use the "Tekken: Dark Resurrection (JAP) PSP iSO Patch Fix from meetjoeblack" on the ISO first.
2. DELETE the UPDATE folder
3. Replace PRX with those from DBZ
4. Save the new ISO

Final ISO size is exactly... 1,241,616MB (1.24GB) :eek2

Play using Devhook 0.42a - enjoy folks!

WOOT! :cool2
Yahhh this works great, with 0.42a, but the second i formatted my stick, installed 0.43... :eek2 doesnt run any more.

Edit: WiFi works perfectly with Devhook 0.43 and 2.6FW emulation I can only assume that the network PRXs for 2.5FW are not compatible. either that or I was just unlucky.

With all of the progress with file relinking, has anybody been able to perform more bin level work? For example, has anyone attempted to extract the movies from the bin files? In a more extreme example, we could perform DOA style edits and extractions. I'm not interested in a nude hack, rather I like the idea of true character customizations. Understandably, there are restrictions to the extent, but I'd like to have more items usable by Mokujin (eg. Devil Jin's Horns, Another Character's Head, and the like).

My initial guess regarding that answer is the same. The position is primarily supported by the fact that, to date, no version of Tekken has been modified to support customization. Additionally, we have not seen a Tekken movie player, rather a PSX movie player, since Tekken 3. As some of you may recall, the movie files were not packed into a bin at that time.

On a lighter note, various Action Replay style codes existed to create interesting effects with move lists and model combinations.

As avatar hinted, there are no known tools available to quickly interpret the files. Moreso, I lack the technical skill to move forward with such and endeavor. Although I could help with basic scripting, my skills are nowhere near those of the people that worked on the DOA games.

Hopefully, the right combination of people and hex editors will find each other.

I doubt that but I've been hearing that you can't use another persons game save because the PSP Tekken Game won't recognize it. You could try but I doubt it would work. And great job with Tekken. All the infomation you have given us has helped me to get Tekken to work. Right now I love it
