zsaley, the network battles are for ad-hoc networking only, There are 3 ways that you might be able to play with wireless.

1. Play someone very close to you
2. Use Xlink Kai (Doesnt appear to work atm.)
3. Try making a vpn tunnel between you and a friend (not confirmed as working, but as Xlink Kai as a whole works this way, theres no harm in trying).

I believe you have to increase your virtual memory to accomodate the size of the iso. in windows xp, to do this, you would have to do the following:

Go to Control Panel. Click on 'System'. Select the 'Advanced' tab. Under 'Performance', select 'Settings'. Select the 'Advanced' tab. Then, under 'Virtual Memory', select 'Change'. Then just increase the numbers enough for your iso.

Well, there are three or more ripkits around @ ps3news for jap, pal and us version - just take these, they are with readme! i tried them and they work fine!
