Ive noticed you can adjust the clock speed on the PSP to better run the SNES emulator. I was wondering, since the PSP has a 333mhx processor is it really bad for it to run it at that? I would assume it would just run the battery down faster rather than actually hurting the processor. Are most websites just trying to cover their butts when they say "Use at your own risk" or is there really an actual risk with running at 333?
Also I have heard of people blowing up their memory cards by doing this swap trick. Anyone here had that happen? And what would make that happen? I have heard that some say its when the system goes into standby then recovers. That doesnt make much sense though if you think about how most emulation works. For instance on my PS2 it loads the roms into the ram then plays from there. I would imagine the PSP is the same and therefore exiting and entering standby should have no real problems. However, removing the card while the USB connection is active my have its adverse effects, that is the other rumor floating around. Please post any odd occurances here. (I only imagine Sony would say some false reports on some sites in order to stop some people from doing this.)
