What better way to celebrate the New Year than with new PSP colors. Sony Computer Entertainment Asia is doing just that with not one, but two new PSP shades.
On January 15, SCE Asia is releasing PSP-3006s in "Radiant Red" and "Vibrant Blue." Each is priced at $1,380 HKD (US$177).

Hong Kong, January 8, 2009 - Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited(SCEH) today announced that it would introduce two new colors, "Radiant Red" and "Vibrant Blue," for its PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) handheld entertainment system on Thursday, January 15, 2009 in Hong Kong at a recommended retail price of HK$1,380.
Launched in October 2008, PSP-3006 has been gaining enthusiastic support fromusers worldwide for its advanced high contrast LCD and built-in microphone. One of the greatest advantages of PSP-3006 is to display images in more natural and vibrant colors. This advantage is compared to the "joy" and "excitement" of a carnival, and the two new colors of "Radiant Red" and "Vibrant Blue", finished in a brilliant and glossy tone, will be introduced as the "CARNIVAL COLORS."
With the introduction of the new "CARNIVAL COLORS" in addition to the popular three basic colors of "Piano Black,""Pearl White," and "Mystic Silver," users will be able to choose from a wider selection to match their lifestyles and preferences and enjoy interactive entertainment anytime, anywhere on the PSP system.
To continue offering greater value to users in Hong Kong, SCEH has launched numerous PSP games in Traditional Chinese version including "BLEACH?SOUL CARNIVAL?"and "LocoRoco2".
