SLPS01222 Biohazard2 code as the game id Dino Crisis 1 (PAL/NTSC) SLPS-02180 DC1 Jap as the game id Brave Fencer Musashi (NTSC) SLPS01222 (BH2-D1 Jap) as the game id ChronoCross SLPS01222 Biohazard2 code as the game id Rayman 2 (PAL) SLPS01222 Biohazard2 code as the game id Dragon Warrior VII not usually needed but SLPS01222 Biohazard2 code can help you get past crash points, but the game runs very slow Wild Arms 2 (NTSC) Use SLPS-00025 from Battle Arena Toshinden to make the graphics work. Text entry letters do not show up though. The good thing is you can just press start to accept the defaults. Dynasty Warriors SLPS02728 Breath of Fire IV - the game finally plays at full speed with no slowdown or graphical errors. LBA-Twinsens Adventure SLPS01222 Biohazard2 code as the game id - No more bugs |

Multi disc Popstation Game on PSP
Can someone post instructions on how to play a multi game disc game in popstation. I go to the point where it says to insert disc 2 and don't know what to do. There is no save before you get to disc 2. This will help out many other games that also do the same thing. I have done a search on existing threads for multi disc for popstation and found nothing. Thank you in advance, Paul S. |

To play multi-disc games you have to use a little trick of same disc id for each disc but different name. Also use the game id as the filenames.. this conforms to the official standard (just keep a list that states what disc-id belongs to which game) I have played through 4 disc games using this method. Funny you can have all disc on the memory card if you desire since games that prompt you to load disc 2, 3 etc usually has data from disc one and so forth. If you want to combine the discs you will have to use some clever tools located here to make a bootable disc, but it may not be worth the trouble.

Multi disc Popstation Game on PSP
Thank you Tugpsx. Let me explain what i am doing so you can help me out in specific. I loaded up Thousand Arms Disc 1 under folder 'Thousand Arms'. I got to the end of thousand arms disc 1 and it says insert disc 2 so i did the following: --1st i paused the game and took out the memory card to erase disc 1 and insert disc 2 in the same folder and using the same name. I left the game save and game id the same , then inserted back the memory card and unpaused it. Still no good. I even took out the UMD a couple of times to see if that would make a difference. --2nd i tried to load up both discs on the memory card with folder 1 being 'Thousand Arms [Disc1of2]' and 'Thousand Arms [Disc2of2]'. and still no good. --I even tried to make a super psx iso combining both discs (and you are right about the discs containing most of the same material), but iso buster and magic iso are unable to extract all the information. I do remember back in the day where there was a psx iso creation tool but unable to find it any more. I do know that i am doing something wrong, please if you can be more elabrate with the instructions that would help out more. Thank you, Tugpsx Paul S. |

Your'e on the right track, i haven't tried Thousand Arms (on PSP yet, did play it on PS1 though) This is what we did for this game SLPS01527 Alive Disc1 GAMEID SLPS01527 SLPS01528 Alive Disc2 GAMEID SLPS01527 SLPS01529 Alive Disc3 GAMEID SLPS01527 (just keep a list that states what disc-id belongs to which game) This will allow all discs to use the same memory save and load the previous save point. The catch is some ingame programs looks for disc name to load the game. If you look at the discs there is a system file used to identify the disc, when you combine the game on 1 disc you have to be able to trick that file or patch the elf. If you want to extract the contents of the discs use cdrwin to create an iso/bin then your program to extract it. Search the threads posted on the program used to make a bootable PS1 image. |
