resident evil nemesis crashes

It crashes when u try to enter the door after the hospital explosion scene with carlos. there's only one possible exit with the other 2 doors is either locked or bolted from the other side. i'm stumped and cant proceed on with the game. in case you're wondering, its the part when carlos is collecting the vaccine.

Chrono Trigger (NTSC)

Chrono Trigger (NTSC-US) - contrary to what it says on the list, this game works perfectly for me, and the sound is excellent.

I have a question, Is there a thread on this site that has nothing but Popstation/PSX images? I've tried looking for a while and i couldn't find one. Well i did find a thread but they didn't have icon previews on them. And if there is one can a mod make a sticky of it? I think that would be awesome.

The quickest way is to build disc 2 with the same save name as disc 1. The game name can be different but use the same save name, i have done this for several games and now currently on disc 3 of Alive when booted it found the saves from disc 1 and 2.

Question Dance Dance Revolution buggy

All games of Dance Dance Revolution series have one problem: The arrows go a little bit faster than the music.

It's not noticable at the beginning. But as long as the time passes, it will be noticable and become annoying. Is this a bug of PopStation, 3.03OE-A firmware or PS1 emulator itself?

PSX Compatability Theory

I've been reading this and other threads with interest regarding the compatability of PSX games on our PSP using the mighty popstation:grin: and based on what I've experienced I have come up with a theory.

I own a genuine copy of FFIX and attempted to make a PSP compatable version. (I've made other games with 100% sucess) and all I got was the black screen. I borrowed a copy of FFIX from a friend which was 'patched' years ago, this one converts 100%. Going back to the 'old days' I remember having to patch my PSX games in order for the back-up's to work.

The question is... is it the disks copy protection system that's stopping some games from working?
I think the software you use to rip the ISO's may make a difference due to the sub channel data etc. that may need to be read. Thoughts anyone??

Hello all,

Anybody tried X2 No Relief? I had no luck - freezes at the beginning of the 1st level.

Thanx for any reply.

The copy protection scheme that exists on the originals will be transferred to the iso unless you modify it or use the subcode option. During the latter days of the ps1 most of the developers started using some kind of copy protection. Capcom with the release of resident evil, dino crisis and strider was one of the more successful one and its protection was adopted for use by alot of companies. Square went on to add the feature to parasite eve 2 while capcom allowed you to sample their game then lock you out with the modchip detection software embedded in the game. There are alot of game patches out there that may be of use to the gaming comunity, but again we suggest you use only your original as source.
