PSP PopStation Compatibility List!

noone knows anything about kings field 2? your compatibility list shows kings field 2 as working. i have spent the last 2 weeks ripping and converting this game i started with magiciso and now using cdrwin and cdclone. i have tried compressed and not compressed versions in 3.03 oe-a this game will get to the game select screen go thru the opening video and then hang up at the game loading screen. in 3.02 oe-a it never even started it just hung at a black screen after initializing. im curious how this game got listed as works in your compatibility list does someone have a working conversion of this game? please reply if you can help

I have tried final fantasy 9 pal (french version) : don't work evne if i tried a ntsc to pal with popstation.

The ntsc version of FFiX convert with popstation qork perfect.

Have someone an isue with final fantasy IX pal ?

WORKING FIX FOR ALL VERSIONS!!! 1. Get 3.03OE-A on your psp 2. Get the latest cwCheat plugin on ur psp. You can activate it in the recovery menu. 3. Get ePSXe on ur computer. 4. Play the first disc until you get to the part after you beat sniper wolf in the snowfield. 5. Save 6. Hold the select button until the cheat menu opens and select manage memory cards. 7. Choose Save memory card 1 to memory stick. 8. Exit the game and go into usb mode. 9. go into ms0/seplugins/cwcheat/mc and find ur .mcr file 10. open ePSXe and select Config from the top and select memory card->memory card 1. 11. make the memory card 1 be watever your .mcr file was "SCXX _ XXXXX.mcr" 12. take the ISO out of ur .pbp with popstation GUI 0.71. (if u have both PSX discs skip this step.) 13. Start MGS disc 1 and load ur game in the snowfield and go to the point where it tells you to change disc. 14. Press "esc" on ur keyboard, select file->change disc-> ISO/CD (whatever you will use) then hit ok on the info box once you change disc or iso. 15. Press run on the top then continue. 16. the game should say "press start once disc to is inserted. press start then u shud be in the blast furnace starcase. 17. SAVE!! 18. Now exit ePSXe and rename your .mcr file to "XXXX _ XXXXX.mcr" (the X's being the disc ID of MGS disk 2 . 19. open the MGS disk 2 eboot. or put it on if you havn't already. 20. When you are on the main menu screen hold select to open the cheat menu. 21. go to manage memory cards and load memory card 1 from memory stick. exit the cheat menu. 22. in the MGS disc 2 main menu go to load game. and load your game, it shud still say snowfield (dont worry). 23. load the game anyway and press yes or no to read the mission log then start your game. you should be in the blast furnace. 24. SAVE!!! Hope this helps!

Does anyone know how to alter the savedata for a game so that it's compatible with another. I created an eboot with FFT and now i've gone back and made a compressed one with correct Game ID label and title so now the saves won't work with the new one.

Final Fantasy 8 still crashed fighting a flying monster outside of Timber after taking the train out of the town to the next garden. You can avoid the crash by killing it quickly (use GFs). I'm using the newest firmware

MGS Disc Swap Fix by psychospacefish. Sorry it took so long, it took way longer than I thought to hack this one. You will need the latest CWCheat. 1.)Play MGS Disc 1 until you go through the Lvl.6 door in the Snowfield. Don't go down the stairs, save your game, then quit. Put the Disc 2 EBOOT on your memory stick if you haven't already. 2.)Open ms0:\seplugins\cwcheat\cheatpops.db in notepad. Add these lines to it _S slus_00776 _G Metal Gear Solid Disc 2 _C0 Disc Swap Fix _L 800B7518 0002 _L 800B75C0 0003 3.)Start Disc 2 and enable the cheat. Load your save. Continue playing. Note: After you've used the cheat to load your game, you don't need to use it again. This will load ANY Disc 1 save on Disc 2. Don't use it earlier than you need to or the game will freeze when trying to load a cinematic. Basically it forces the game to think whatever save that's loaded has been saved on Disc 2 (first line) and has passed the disc check (second line).

i done what you said and got it to work, but it still hangs on the metal gear solid insert disc 2, does the disc 1 have to be the same save data id as the disc 2 because myn was different.. but i changed the disc 2 id to the same as the save which is the id of disc 1. sorry if i dont make sense, i jus got back from work and im tired as hell!
