The Dex is a good idea, i still have mine, i think i'll have to use the Dex to get the save into an emu to make the virtual memory file needed for psone save. What a run around eh! BTW thanks for all those icons.

Here are a few more custom icons for everyone!

Hope you enjoy them. :smile2

It's also a possibility that you can get them if you have a PS3... but I don't have one so I'm just speculating on that.

If you mean from your PSOne emu, ideally ePSXe, I think you can just copy the memcard file from that program into the folder for the game you want. You might have to just rename it, but i'd think it would work. I haven't tried this either... so again I'm just speculating, but it's worth trying. Let us know if it works.
Already tried this, it looks like the files for the 2 memcards
MEMCARD1.DAT and MEMCARD2.DAT are encrypted.
if we could decrypt them it should have the same structure as from a ps1 emulator or dex drive, if 2 games use the same savefolder it just uses the next block free like a real ps1.
on my colonywars redsun save i can see the ffvii saves i made before.

Thumbs up Confirmed

I just tested my STREET FIGHTER EX2 PLUS using new psx2psp converter and it worked like a charm.
I wonder why it didnt work when i was using other GUI converters. This new converter seems quicker n gets to the point.

it also appears that the 2 memcards are paired together somehow.
swapping MEMCARD1.DAT from ffix to MEMCARD1.DAT from colony wars for example will give you the error (80000004) when you load either game.

Could also be some kind of 'savegame' ID mismatch. The original PSX save looking for the correct one and vice versa

could be. but looking at MEMCARD2.DAT from 2 different games, with their own savefolder and both memcards are blank, in a hex editor and they are different

I've used two separate downloads of Hot Shots Golf 2 as the base.pbp and keys.bin with no luck. I've used both GUIs and the original program through CMD. I always end up with the exact same result, however. An eboot.pbp which, when loaded, displays the beginning speil about how the game may differ and refer to the manual by pressing HOME, etc. Then it reads from the card for a few seconds and..... blank screen. It isn't frozen, as pressing HOME brings up the correct options, but it isn't PLAYING anything either.

Please, if anyone is willing, I could use help on this. I may not be a genius, but I'm no fool either. I've gone over and over the guides, and if I'm missing something... anything, I'm just not seeing it. I'll gladly answer whatever questions you folks may have of me in the hopes of narrowing down the problem and finding a solution.

Thank you for your time and effort on this.
The PSP report any error?
I'm asking this because mine works fine, but the PSP of a friend give the error 80000004.
The consoles are from the same date, Europe launch, mine is working fine, the other not.
