ngPsp Neo Geo Pocket (NGP) Emulator - PS3 NEWS

Hi guys i need some help in loading roms for the neo geo emulator for the PSP 1.50. I can load the emulator program fine using the MS swap but i can't seem to load the roms no matter where i put it, zipped or unzipped. In the menu i can't do anything when i try to select Open Rom (something like that).

I've got the same problem here, I have this also with the gensis, megadrive emulator, Please help?

found out why neo geo didn't work, it's because you and myself downloaded a neo geo cd rom, be sure to get a neo geo pocket rom

The rom file extension must be .ngp in order for emulator to recognize it...

really? so i have ro rename the *.zip extention to a *.ngp?

edit: i tried renaming it *.ngp but it still doesnt regonise the roms...

if u didn't know...a zip is a compressed file. you need either winrar, winzip, etc to extract the files from the zip. now that we have that clear...you can only run neo-geo pocket roms with the emulator available. no neo-geo aes or neo-geo cd games will be recognized or run. like djpapa said the file extension must be .ngp

mmm... ok i went to get some neo geo pocket roms (they were zipped but after unzipping there were *.ngp files) and tried again ant still it doesnt regonise... could it be the emulator thats stuffing up?

Hey everyone, I'm also having problems loading the roms on this emulator. They are named correctly, even organized nicely in a roms folder in the directory, yet when I click any button on "load rom" nothing happens.

Genesis was also giving me problems, it just boots to an odd red screen and it won't allow me to do anything.

Any ideas?

red screen means your rom has a bad checksum -> it's screwed.

I can't get past the first screen either. It does nothing when I select "Load ROM"

Anyone get it to work at all?

I'm using the NG PSP v1.2, NGPC Emulator.

How does I get to the roms? I put my roms in the roms folder. Files have the .npc extension.

Can't get pass this screen:

Nothing happens when I select load rom, or run rom. I downloaded the emulator from this site. The NEOGEOPOCKET and NEOGEOPOCKET% folders were premade when I downloaded the file.
