Yes, PS3 can only read FAT32.

How do you install the proxy, it is a .rar file, my computer won't recognize it.

You need to UnRAR it with http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm first on your PC, then install it.

So i followed all the steps and tried everything to get it to work but when i set Use Proxy on my ps3 and put in the ip number given to me with the program, i cant login, it gives me an error and i cant access the internet.

my proxy number given is 5.183.130.133 port 8080. when i put that info in my ps3 and start up the proxy server.gui, i cant login. when i select do not use proxy, i can login and get on PSN. is there something im doing wrong?

hey junk56 - just a quick question - if you can access the PSN store WITHOUT using ps3proxy - then why are you trying to use it? you must have up to date firmware

if you're after something from a different region then just create a new user on the ps3 and sign them up with a fake address in the country you're after, they then connect to that regions store

if however you are trying to install games you didn't actually pay for, then check out the last page of the firmware bypass thread - or search my other posts - i've explained it there..... however i can't guarantee it will work on higher versions of firmware....

Back in the day, when my PS3Proxy was on and my PS3 Network was signed on. I turned off my PC and my PS3 Network is still on. Wierd huh?

Anyway, I tried to use PS3Proxy on 1.90 but no luck because the little icon bring me to Photo Directory but the file was completed, the file wasn't there anymore.

Finally, I uses Folding@Home Link instead of PSN Game Link and it works but it hang aroung 70% and gave me Error Message.

I just cant get connected with the internet! (via router)
If i just connect my PS3 with my other router (wireless) it connect! But i cant spoof my firmware :S

Can someone help me please?

Forgot too type; my PS3 cant get the IP @ the first test (if i test the connection) it gives me a time-out
