European PlayStation Store Update for January 21, 2010

Today Mike Kebby of the SCEE PlayStation Store Team has shared this week's European PSN update, as follows:

Today, as most of you blog readers will know, is the day that we unleash the ModNation Racers Beta for you, and for the first 100,000 people who download it when the store updates (should be mid-afternoon), I can assure you, you'll be having a LOT of fun. I will update on here, and via my twitter feed, as soon as the store is live.

We also have a fresh batch of special offers available for you, with a selection that should cater for all tastes. Personally, I think Smash Cars is great value, and that reduction on Unbound Saga is also very tempting is it not? Okay, enough tactless sales attempts I promise.

We also have some new dynamic themes for Heavy Rain, Buzz! and Singstar, and another mini title, Vector TD, is added to the minis family. This is all wrapped up with a few more bits and pieces, full details below.

Finally, this week, in another attempt to shamelessly please you all with freebies, I have a couple of handfuls of dynamically themed codes (very subtle hint on what they're for I know) to give away.

However, rather than ask you to pander to me for them, let's try this instead; those who want to try and get a code from me reply below completing the following sentence "I don't deserve one of your codes because..." I'll give codes away today and tomorrow, to those replies I deem the best.

Downloading ModNation Racers Beta as I type! It's 2GB, so I still have to wait before I can let loose my imagination.

Oh, and: I don't deserve one of your codes because I'm a basement-dwelling Neckbeard without any social skills and I refresh PS3news.com at least 2 times per minute.

LOL I thought I was losing it when people were replying with all this "code talk" but then I re-read the first post and realized Sony mentioned them in their EU PS Blog entry.
