PlayStation@Home working! (but you can't play) - Page 15 - PS3 NEWS

ok, idk if im doing something wrong or what. but heres what I got. i set everything to "on" in the xml files from "off". In the proxy program i put my PC's IP addres 192.168.1.xxx NO 0s at all (it is a static ip)

I checked ps3 mode, I have my 3 bars:

1st bar: http://select.ww.home.playstation.ne...uct-select.xml| (Product XML file on pc)

2nd Bar: http://select.ww.home.playstation.ne...try-select.xml| (Country XML file on pc)

3rd Bar: http://pkg.ww.home.playstation.net/h...00000001-E.pkg| (PKG file on pc)

Then clicked start.

On my PS3, I set auto on everything except proxy and UPnP wich i put in for proxy as 192.168.1.xxx (NO 0s) and for Upnp I turned it on(says it doesnt matter but i did it anyway)

when i test my settings everything is fine but my NAT is at Type 2, I turn ps3 off. turn it back on. and everything loads. but no Home icon under Account managment.

what am i doing wrong?

the urls for the bars are wrong, they shouldn't have ... in them, you can't just highlight a parsed link, you have to copy link location.

Voila I have to succeed has to install the HOME I connect I arrive on the homepage and I have the message " you have not access to the world of home! Anybody can help me?

wish someone with home would upload the home game save. I think I have an idea. but I need that game save.

One of our DEV's dug this up, we wanted to hold off on releasing this until the open beta, but it seems needed now, so it will be released!

He did a bit of network sniffing, and discovered that HOME connects here:

http://game-updates.online.scee.com:...0_2_0/DATA.XML

Aside from the archives, the SELF and other interesting files, the real interesting one that seems important at the moment is the: http://game-updates.online.scee.com:...NCHOPTIONS.XML

Now I don't have HOME here to tinker, but that max players option seems interesting, someone mind try changing it to something other than zero?

Nevertheless, its more pieces to the puzzle!

So I've set up the PS3 Proxy Server program, set the IP to 192.168.1.102... that's the IP of my computer, is that right? I saw people posting 192.168.1.96... but whenever I put that in, I get an error in the proxy program. I have no idea where I should be looking for this thing on my PS3, or why it would be here now because I've replaced 3 files. Any advice is helpful, thanks.

Tried changing the falses to trues in data.xml and tried changing the 0 to a higher value in the gamelaunchoptions.xml, but still no luck. I have to think we are on the right path though.
