I'm surprised no one posted any links to the new Yellow Dog Linux 6.0

The latest release of Yellow Dog Linux supports 802.11b Airport auto-configuration as well as AirPort Extreme with additional configuration, and offers working audio on all tested machines. The distribution also supports the Sony PS3 Sixaxis game controller and cellular phone internet connections, with configuration. Yellow Dog Linux 6.0 includes E17 as well as Gnome installed by default, with the KDE desktop environment ready to install. Gnash, Ekiga VoIP, Pigdin IM/RC, and Fluendo codec installer are also supported. The operating system utilizes Linux kernel 2.6.23 with gcc 4.1.1, glibc 2.5, and Eclipse 3.2.2.

YDL 6.0 is available only for people registered at YDLnetwork.
In a month it will be available for downloading on usual mirrors.
YDL 6.0 supports sixaxis and uses a lighter windows manager named Enlightenment 0.17.
If anyone knows a mirror where it is yet available is pleased to submit...

actually I came here looking for a link to the ISO. It was just released 2 days ago. You gotta pay to get it from their private servers, but I believe it is okay to redistribute it yourself. after all its linux

Ya, when YDL first came to PS3 it was the same way.. the initial ISO release was like a month before the public one so it ended up hitting the net and being linked here, etc.

well ill guess ill be downloading it next month when it releases to public. they have to make their money ya know so i dont mind waiting. im not subscribed so ill just wait. if not id have to sign up for ydl.net (fee) then pay for a disc (fee). aint gonna happen.

I just downloaded it, but i had ydl 5.02 already installed and can't seems to be able to install it, i think i have to reformat because there is no upgrade option and i get stuck at install !
