YDL is not playing DVD

I have read that YDL supports playing DVD but I keep getting an error.... I need to download some plugins... Is this unique to my installation or do I need to findout what plugins to download?

Try to install Mplayer

its probably because that distro didnt come with the correct codec as it would be illegal. vlc or the one LordSNK says have the codec preinstalled and will play a dvd.

I didnt want to start a new thread so a similar question, I installed M mplayer (YUM install mplayer and YUM install mplayer-gui) but when I tried to play an MP3 the audio was all distorted, any reason for this? I would assume mplayer has MP3 codecs.
