Semi-full YDL5 screen modes / remove black borders!

Hi,

I am a noob to this and struggling really badly to find how to update graphics drivers for YDL 5.01 on my PS3. I am using a Normal Toshiba telly also a projector if this would be better!

The screen is flickering really badly and I have no idea what to do next. It looks like a total waste of time so far.

Please can someone advise me of the next few steps to get a better picture?

Is there a way to do this for ydl 5.0.2 - i will miss the wifi access!!!

It is indeed - you'll just need to obtain the 5.0.2. source codes ...

"just..." Where would I find them and what would I need to modify in order to make this work? Just basically find the source codes then follow steps?
btw, I'm on a component connection to a 1080i lcd tv

Yes - the procedure should be the same. ATM I'm not aware of a free download for 5.0.2 source so only solution would be to purchase it via Terra Soft store Enhanced Account ...
