Newbie Wanabe needs Help with YDL

i have a 60GB PS3.

1. Formatted HD
2. Downloaded YDL & matching otheros
3. In the process of installing to PS3
4. I am MS Window guy and do not know much about Linux and their command Lines
5. What commands do I need to dump games to the PS3 partition of the Hard disk?
6. Is it best to use an external USB hard disk to dump the games to and if so what are the commands?
7. Can you play these dumped/backup games from hard disk, or this will be future hack?
8. Is there a good reference material/guide on all of the above
9. Once I have all the answers, I will try to consolidate all the inputs and create a Newbie guide for the next me. :grin:

hold the esc key in a terminal or on the main command prompt

5. What commands do I need to dump games to the PS3 partition of the Hard disk?

dd if:/dev/sr0 of:/filepath.iso

yes, you can bring it to a pc afterwards
dd of:/dev/sr0 of:/dev/hd*/filename.iso
* is what the drive letter is you can view this in a file browzer, under media , or on the side of nautilus

not yet, possibly
