My shelf disappeared in YDL

Total noob question - How do you make the launch shelf reappear after sending it to "always at the back"? There is no little arrow to make it come back, and mousing over the edges of my screen do nothing. It is gone, vanished into thin air! :??

I just got YDL running on my PS3, but I somehow made my shelf disappear, and now I don't know how to run any apps. The only way I got Firefox to open to post this question is by creating a blank document, and then trying to open it with Firefox in order to get the app to launch... Please help me get the launch bar back!

Use Right click on your mouse then select Shelf to restore back to display. Its really bother me when trying to keep the shelf locked and I hate moving the shelf messing around.

Thanks for the reply. It makes sense, but where do I right click? When I right click on the desktop, I get the following options:

Create Folder
Create Launcher
Create Document
Clean up by name
Keep Alligned
Paste
Change Desktop background

I knew I was going to have to take my lumps learning a new OS, but this seems so basic, I can't believe such a simple thing has practically crippled my ability to navigate YDL!
