Kernel 2.6.21

What is the diference betwen kernel 2.6.16 and the new 2.6.21 for the ps3? I read that the new one is more optimized for the ps3, How can we upgrade the kernel on YDL? I am another newbie!!! A very big one!!

I can't guarentee that the new one supports UDF2.5 but 2.6.16 is also optimized, but 2.6.19 probably has some bug patches for the SPE/SPU. There is almost no reason to change the kernel after UDF2.5 and NTFS was enabled; not unless they release the graphic drivers for the video card. (In my opinion)
