I think I pressed "Y" instead of "M "in "NTFS Write Support" before I get the error in modules. So can I back it up again or do I have to make a few changes?

Edit: Finally!!! I just updated by using your downloadable file with pre-install UDF_2.50 patch and its work! Now I have UDF_2.50 installed on my YDL!!! Problem Solved!!!
I am thrilled to hear this "EDIT:", proof perfect that the guide works then with the pre-patch.

PS3News can you fix the guide to read
TYPE make menuconfig
and
PRESS Y

PS3 News I think the line you were supposed to fix was line 7 should read make menuconfig and line 7.7 should say press y. if im wrong then please correct me but it took me a while to figure out the make menu config on line 7 so just trying to help others get it easyer.

All I did was fo a CTRL-F and look for the word and add what he said... if it's still not right, he will have to specify what needs fixing step by step (detailing each step number and the changes).

there is also a "/" missing at No. 15. The screen shot shows the correct input, but the written guide is incorret, as " ydl_ntfs_udf='/dev/sda1:/vmlinux_NTFS_UDF initrd=/dev/sda1MISS A "/" HERE) initrd_NTFS_UDF.img root=/dev/sda2 init=/sbin/init video=ps3fb:mode:3 rhgb' (You can also change default=ydl_ntfs_udf, and you can also change the mode to 4 for 1080i". I found it out because it caused a problem when I tried to cope and paste the command line into terminal. Maybe you can fix that too.

PS3NEWS I agree, it should line 15 read
initrd=/dev/sda1:/

(I had typed it manually (so much for the brain being perfect))

(Note: didn't get to work on backupbluray got involved in starcraft (sorta))

hacked2123 would this / missing cause the kernal not to work properly using udf2.5? ive tryed your upgrade 2 times now and havent had sucess but i always copy and paste what you had typed so i actually copy the error in this line every time. could this be why it dosnt work for me?

please dont ever take our criticism as any kind of attack on you. I personally love the things you are doing and hope you continue to be this motivated in the ps3 scene. sometimes it dont hurt to have live 1000 proof readers though. please keep up the good work.
