free antivirus

Does anybody know a free antivirus that I can download? I am running ydl 5 on my ps3. I appreciate it- thanks.

why would you need an anti-virus in linux?

sorry for the questions, but im still very new to linux. I come from over a decade of soleley using microsoft os'... I have never heard of never using any os w.o a antivirus, and maybe i am not understanding something about linux. I plan on using it for emails, internet, and other apps that normally be considered "vulnerable". I've heard its much more stable and secure, but i could somebody please explain how its not susceptible to viruses?

Thus Mac's ad campaigns saying that macs are better because they are virus free (among others). Not to say Mac isn't a good os, it's just that it only doesn't get viruses because not many people use it, so it's not a large target.
