Flash Linux Installation Woes

Hey,

After seeing that I am missing a bunch of plugins that Mozilla could not find the plug in for, I went to download a couple of plugins... After downloading the Flash plug in, and using tar to unarchive/ decompress the files, I ran into a wall. Please look at the terminal text and let me know if I am doing something wrong please. thanx!

[root@localhost install_flash_player_9_linux]# ls -l

Is the Realplayer executable a PPC64 binary? If not, it will not run!

dont think flash works yet in ydl. there are bugs such as the wifi not working but they will get ironed out in time. till then just have to be patient.

robertr728 is correct; there is no Flash support for PPC linux yet. However, there is a petition you can sign and hope Adobe ports it
