    Why does 360 get stuff before ps3?

    just wanted to know if like they pay them or what?

    It is most probably due to the fact that the majority of multi-console games are developed for the 360 as the lead platform, there are exceptions to this of course.

    A lot of the time devs need more production time to get rid of all the bugs etc and it would be ineffective of them to hold back on one platform just to have a simultaneous release across both the 360 and ps3.

    This is especially ineffective as it is statistically obvious that most of their consumer base will be 360 owners.

    It is most probably due to the fact that the majority of multi-console games are developed for the 360 as the lead platform, there are exceptions to this of course.

    I think Microsoft is giving more money for earlier releases at Xbox Live, but for me one week doesn't matter.

    Namely Burnout Paradise and Assassins Creed those were primarily developed as PS3 games that later ported to 360 format.

    yea, they pay more for the games in advance.
