View files on a PS3 hard drive through Windows?

I got a SATA to USB connector for my PS3's hard drive, with the purpose of viewing its files and trying to save some of them. My hard drive recently got corrupted and I wanna see if I can salvage some save files and screenshots. Problem is, I have no idea how to view the files since the PS3 uses a strange formatting the Windows doesn't recognize. Is there a program that can view the files of the hard drive?
