    [Answered] Is Using a Flash Drive for Backups a Bad Idea?

    I have a 2GB Flash drive which can fit The King Of Fighters XII onto it. Would playing the game from a flash drive instead of a USB HDD be a bad idea (seeing as it would require constant reading, a flash drive just doesn't seem like a very good idea, but it's all I've got for the time being).

    Constant writing would make it age fast. Constant reading is not a problem for flash drives. So go ahead!

    I would think a USB HDD would have a better read rate. But a small flash drive should do the trick just fine.
