Twisted Metal without updating help?

I'm unfortunately sitting on 3.56 waiting for the day when I too will have the joys of jailbreaking my system to FINALLY get some use out of it. But until that day, I'm stuck.

So here is my question: tomorrow I am buying twisted metal, I'm curious if there is anyway I will be able to play it without having to update my firmware. I've seen all kinds of "crap" online but I need some real answers not efamers or brickers.

I am not sure what the firmware is on the game but with out a modded shoot and jailbreak system then there is no way to play it with out updating.
