[UnAnswered] Transferring .mp4 from pc to ps3?

    Sponsored Links
ok I want to sent .mp4 file (3.3 GB big) to ps3, I had tried with Vilvic_Media_Center_v1.0.5 and with Red_Kawa_File_Server but when I go to ps3 web browser to access file I get "the page cannot be displayed". when I using ps3portal everything is ok but it can't transfer file larger then 100 mb or am I wrong?

is there any other way to sent large file to ps3?

    thanks

You can try SimpleCenter. That should work. It is a media server.

Update to Vilvic Media Center 1.0.8 beta and you will be able to transfer really large files. I've transfered up to 20Gb files with vilvic.

I was transferring a file and it got to 99% and seemed to stay there for ages so I cancelled it. Do you know why it may of stuck or should I of just been more patient?

The media server is great, I never have to really burn a disc again now I can either stream or cop straight from the pc

    Red Kawa File Server

Its old and probably hasn't got as many features as Vilvic Media Center but i use Red Kawa file server its so easy you just install run the program and then go to the address on you ps3. Easy as pie!

With Red Kawa make sure you have the exact path entered including the filename of the file you want to transfer.
so don't just add a folder (ex. "C:\games\") but include the file in it (ex."C:\games\movie.mp4")
