I recently updated my RE5 gold edition to the move version but i had the release were you couldn't get past chapter 1-1.. So i figured I'd just delete the installed data files and install a newer WORKING version.

So i downloaded a new release and now when i try to launch it i get a message that files needs to be installed and when i press yes i get 80029567 error. Even when all game data and saves has been removed..

why won't the game boot?

Right now i'm seriously thinking about a format of the ps3 drive just so i can play re5 move, you guys have any thoughts?
