Quitting to XMB turns game into Corrupted Data?

I installed a game with the geohot cfw 3.55. The game works, However when I quit the game back to XMB, the game becomes unsupported data. what is wrong?

This sounds to me like a PARAM.SFO problem, check your SFO & be sure it is set to HG(HardDisk Game) instead of DG(Disc Game).

but why would it start ok the first time and then become corrupted when quitting?
