That helps a lot hilongo. I was still a little confused but that makes sense. But then I'm wondering about this pkg called 'gameDATA', which is where I first even thought it was possible.
It seem(ed?) to install PSN games to ext. hdd by moving folders around or something and then I couldn't find a working link or anyone talking it about in a couple of years. I finally found it last night but haven't tried it yet. I fully understand what you're saying and it makes sense, but that's really what I thought this thing did. I guess I'll just need to replace my internal if it doesn't. Thanks a lot.
Ok, I found a version of gameDATA that should allow me to install PSN games to an ext. hdd. But I'm having the same problem I'm having with a lot of Pkgs. I install them but when I try to run them I get an error: an error occurred during the start operation 80010017
This happens after installation while trying to play a game, usually from pkgs, but sometimes from regular file structures off the ext. hdd and usually they are PSN games, but obviously not always. Any help of this?
I was going to put this in a new thread since I have the program to install to hard drive now, but it seemed related, I'll probably have to move it when no one answers it. Thanks if you do.
