    I guess he has to get a better heat gun to reflow, he said his only went to like 300 F. I fhe was reflowing it with a gun that only got that hot i can see why he has had to do it over and over.

    Yeah, I've never reflowed a PS3, but I have fixed many many 360's with RROD. I use a heat gun set on 900 F for that and it works every time. You just have to be super careful not to get the MOSFETs or the controller sync button hot (it melts very easily, ask me how I know ).
