    [UnAnswered] ps3 no screen

    my ps3 is power on and no screen make this when i download the frimware from sony via site download and i try to but the old cable and hold the green button to reset the ps3 and nothing happen

    Is the power light acting erratically ie. flashing? Or is the console turning off after you have started it? Also, just to clear up your post, are you saying you updated the firmware and now the ps3 wont turn on? It sounds like a firmware issue if you havnt played with the display cables.
